First of all, we love the fact that this RV Park is open Year Round.
The owners were so welcoming and
gave us better insight and advice than most visitor centers. Trees,
grass and old iron wheels and horse coach are beautiful. The fabulous
view, the decorations, the site facilities and most importantly the
kindness of the proprietors made us come back and we will in the future
as well.

We have stayed at Durango RV Park for
four different summer vacations from 2001 to 2010 and it's always good
to return to a safe familiar place. It's like our home away from home.
Durango RV Park has lots with trees and shade and a mountain view where
you can see the weather conditions all the way to Engineer Mountain.
Your camp site is a private and quiet place where you can enjoy your
lawn chairs with no bugs and no smoke from campfires. Enjoy the hummingbirds,
flowers, farm, mining and industrial antiques at an old-iron lover's
paradise. Easy access to shopping at Aztec, Farmington, Cortez, Durango,
Bayfield or Ignatio. It's in the middle of it all with low rates, friendly
hosts, an easy path to DirecTV or Dish Network, DSL phone connections,
laundry and mail. If you are into skiing or other winter fun, they are
open all year. We tow our Jeep and take full advantage of the trails
and views within our daily range. We have enjoyed the scenery on US-550
dozens of times to Silverton and Ouray. Enjoy the scenic trails in LaPlata
Canyon.

We like our space, the trees and the
old stuff. Really like the view out our back windows. The
price is right and we appreciate the laid back atmosphere.

It was my good fortune to find the Durango
RV Park, and from the first day of arrival was met by Cotton and Dawn
and their friendly manner never changed. We were greatly impressed over
the parks cleanliness, the beauty provided with the neatly trimmed pine
trees, the flowers and the good folks staying there. As I had recently
retired we remained at the park for over a year. I would certainly recommend
you make it one of your travel destination stops. Ask Dawn about the
local history, she is a wealth of knowledge. Trust me; they will make
you feel right at home.

The Durango RV Park is a very nice park.
They made me feel welcome with all their shared information about where
to go and the good motorcycle rides. Thank you for being so friendly
and helpful.

After traveling
through Arizona and New Mexico, it is wonderful to see grass and trees.
Our sites are a nice size with a view. I like your old buggies.

Durango RV Park is calm and peaceful with pleasant surroundings and
wonderful owners. I would not have lived there for two years if this
weren't the case. I especially appreciate the character of the place
with all the shade trees and relics. Durango RV Park is definitely not
your run-of-the-mill, sterile, soul-less RV Park.

Durango RV Park's
Campground is quiet and private - very nice to come into at the end
of the day.

We found Durango RV Park in the Good
Sam Trailer Life book. The directions were clear and close to everything
we wanted to see. When traveling, we don't need: 1) a pool, 2) tennis
courts, or 3) a hot tub. We were looking for a quiet, clean and reasonably
priced RV park and Durango RV Park met all of these needs. Your laundry
prices are very good. Thanks.

Having experienced several RV sites, I prefer Durango RV Park. Unlike
overnight stops, little things become important when you live at a site
full time - just like the proper fit of a shoe. The location, elevation,
and amenities are excellent, at a decent price. Each lot has full hookups,
and the park is far from the bustle of town, the bugs of river bottoms,
and the wind and cold of mountain tops, with beautiful views and shade,
regular maintenance, and responsive customer service. The result is
a peaceful environment and good neighbors.

Beautifully treed and peaceful. We
enjoyed the antiques. A little further out but very reasonably priced.
Thank you.

I liked the non-traditional trash receptacle
at Durango RV Park. Instead of being a necessary exposure you have made
it blend into the Park. I like your reasonable rates. If and when we
are in this area again, your RV Park would be my first choice of where
to stay. I like the relaxed atmosphere and your friendliness and helpfulness.
Your RV Park has character!
